Summer Reading List for 2013/2014 Dobyns-Bennett English Department
All Dobyns-Bennett students enrolled in college prep or honors English classes are expected to complete assigned summer reading for their English class and level. These books will be incorporated into the curriculum throughout the school year in a variety of ways. For each grade level, titles were chosen thematically to correspond to one essential question. Students should read actively, taking notes and reflecting on the reading. They should be prepared to engage in discussion and other activities pertaining to their reading during the opening days of the 2013-2014 school year.
